“Come and experience what
the Lofoten Islands has to offer”

We are a portal for Lofoten Islands and offer unique tips for your journey to this arctic archipelago in northern Norway.

Lofoten is known for excellent fishing, nature attractions such as the northern lights and the midnight sun, and small villages off the beaten track. Kayak between the islands, go fishing for the catch of your life, or look for sea eagles soaring in the sky.

Henningsvær A delightful (and rather narrow) 8km-long, islet-hopping journey southwards from the E10 brings you to the still-active fishing village of Henningsvær, perched at the end of a thin promontory. Its nickname, 'the Venice of Lofoten', is somewhat overblown, but it's certainly the trendiest place in the archipelago.
